About
United Way Week of Caring links employees from companies throughout the Greater Lafayette area with rewarding volunteer projects. Through hands-on projects, community volunteers are afforded a unique education about service programs and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others through service.
The Week of Caring was established to promote the spirit and value of volunteerism, increase the awareness of local human service agencies & schools and to demonstrate what people working together for the community's good can accomplish.
Week of Caring helps those who donate their time, talents, and resources see firsthand the difference their choice can make to these vital community services.
In 2010, volunteers were needed to help with over 70 projects. Volunteer projects may include:
- Cooking & collecting food items
- Maintenance & landscaping
- Painting, gardening or cleaning
Please join us again this year!
