The Leaders of Tomorrow program is a great way to get youth involved in the community for the summer! LOT has been around for over 14 years! This program is designed to engage young adults in meaningful volunteer projects. LOT incorporates the Six Pillars of Character. Spots are limited so sign up today!

Requirements:
- Youth Volunteer: between the ages 11 & 15
- Leader Volunteer: between the ages 16 & 18
- A good attitude and responsibility
Key Dates:
- Leader Apps. Due: May 18, 2012
- Youth Apps. Due: May 18, 2012
- Orientation: May 29 or 31 @ 5:30 pm
- LOT Session 1: June 4 - June 29, 2012
- LOT Session 2: July 2- July 27, 2012
- Wrap-Up Party: July 31, 2012 5:30-7:30 pm
Details:
- LOT is $15 per participant- Invoices will be sent once your child is accepted into the program. Payments will be accepted at orientations on May 29 and 31. Scholarships available upon request.
- LOT has two summer sessions- you can participate in one or both (4 or 8 weeks)
- Projects are two days a week for 1-4 hours per day.
- You will get to rank your project choices on your application
The Process:
- Create a volunteer profile on the new volunteer site
- Go to the events section of the website
- Browse through the projects and choose which one you would like to volunteer with
- Staff reviews selection & notifies participants of approval
- Upon approval, directed to manditory survey to complete
- Attend mandatory orientation
